videophile

Someone who is a complete nitpick when it comes to the quality of a home video. They're the reason that SuperBit DVD's were made.
They tend to complain whenever a video shows even the least amount of dicoloration, blurring, or artifacting.
Also deplore the quality of bootleg movies but just can't stop downloading them.
videophile: "OMFG I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT MY WIDESCREEN SPIDERMAN 2 DVD HAS A GHOST FRAME DURING AN ANGLE SWITCH IN A BATTLE SCENE THAT NO ONE WOULD EVER NOTICE UNLESS THEY TOOK THE TIME TO PAN THROUGH THE VIDEO FRAME BY FRAME! 10/10/1 >:-(

videophart

An unstoppable video that begins on a Web page, no matter what your browser settings for video auto-play are, and can only be stopped manually. The most insidious versions can't be stopped at all.
CNN has started using videopharts. Doesn't matter how you set your browser, they load and begin playing automatically until you manually shut them off.

The act of leaving a video on a friend's wall, complete with awkward and terrible dancing. Videopooping is also accompanied by music commonly enjoyed by the victim of the videopoop. This is the new version of a Rick Roll.
Hey, did you see that videopoop Bob left on Jim's wall? It was so hilarious!

Damn, I just got videopooped.

Videopooping people is awesome.

videopoetry

Videopoetry is a genre of poetry displayed on a screen, distinguished by its time-based, poetic juxtaposition of images with text and sound. In the measured blending of these three elements, it produces in the viewer the realization of a poetic experience.
Presented as a multimedia object of a fixed duration, the principal function of a videopoem is to demonstrate the process of thought and the simultaneity of experience, expressed in words – visible and/or audible – whose meaning is blended with, but not illustrated by, the images and the soundtrack.
Text, displayed on-screen or voiced, is an essential element of videopoetry. A work which does not contain visible or audible text could be described as poetic, as an art film or video art, but not as a videopoem.

Imagery in a videopoem – including on-screen text – does not illustrate the voiced text.

fache-couture

French slang, which translated, means "bull's fashion" but basically equates to "hyper trendy" or overly trendy. Used when a person wishes to express distaste at the latest fashion trend/fad, because it seems that everyone has a certain item of clothing or is wearing it. This term is most frequently heard in Paris but is slowly spreading to other parts of France.
1. That Burberry scarf is so fache-couture.
2. That purple American Apparel hoodie is so fache-couture.

A slang term for GLP-1 medications(like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.), usually referring to their appetite-killing, weight-loss, or “I forgot to eat” effects rather than the medical details.

Usage:
* Often casual, ironic, or meme-y
* Can imply effortless weight loss, suppressed hunger, or being “powered by pharmaceuticals”

Notes:
Not a brand name—just shorthand for the whole GLP-1 wave. Frequently shows up in online jokes, gym talk, and group chats where people pretend they’re *totally* doing it naturally.
“I’m not dieting, I’m just on that glippy.”
“Ever since the glippy hit, food feels optional.”
“That summer body? Yeah, glippy assisted.”

fauxstalgia

Faux nostalgia. Faking old things in an attempt to recapture the feeling of times gone past, especially of technology that has passed.
Hipstamatic pictures, just like the vinyl-static added to digital recordings, is prime fauxstalgia
