Post-Vacation Depression

When you return from a long vacation to discover one of 2 things.

1) That you are very sad returning to work and the usual grind, after spending 2 weeks in a different country having tons of fun.

2) To check your email, and find 2 emails after 2 weeks of being gone, and feeling sad that nobody emailed you.
Post-Vacation Depression

1) After Bob came back from China at 3 AM, he was immediately swamped with 3 days of straight work from the time he was away.

2) "Damn! I just got back, and the only email I got was spam...I feel so loved..."

Daniel: Dude why are you looking down in the dumps?

Henry: Well, it's just that I'm going to Disney World in a week.

Daniel: Well, isn’t that something you should be happy about?

Henry: No! Can’t you see that if I go to Disney World in a week I have nothing to be looking forward for? I won’t have a vacation in years. I have Pre-vacation Depression

The feeling that is provoked after a relaxing vacation at the beach.

Symptoms include:

Sand in your crack, lost toll booth tickets, missing annoying family members(ok then you know you've lost it), memory loss, yelling at your favorite sister, hateful blogging, fighting with spouses or boyfriends, empty feeling from vomiting or not being able to eat cause you are so hung over, not enjoying your children, aches and pains associated with dancing and falling asleep in some strange place, alcohol withdrawl, grass stains of unknown origin on your clothing, receiving nasty grams from people who are hatin', uncontrollable crying, being broke, unable to find your way back to the state you came from, failing exams and having to use the term...

"What happens at the beach, stays at the beach."

Litte sister- I have been crying all day and I can't concentrate on studying for my final exam...

The word 'flag' as pronounced by people with thick Belfast accents. The term is a perfect encapsulation of the disproportionate and overblown reaction to the removal of the Union Jack (as in 'de fleg') from above City Hall in Belfast. Where previously it had flown for 365 days per year, it is now flown on 17 designated days of the year - in line with many other British cities.

The event caused a portion of the Protestant community ('fleggers') to make international pricks of themselves as they proceeded to wreck the fucking place, claiming it was another erosion of a 'British' identity they perceive to have been under attack since the horrifying spectre of equality reared its head in Northern Ireland.

The word 'fleg' - and indeed 'fleggers' - fittingly describes a section of humanity unconcerned with knowledge, reality or the vagaries of the English language. Like America's tea-baggers they are ruled by instinct, fear and paranoia with a side dish of rampant bigotry and startling ignorance of the world around them.
"Wat de fuck like! The taigs got de fleg took down! Let's wreck de fuckin place! No surrender!"

"De fleg has been took down! Before ye know it there'll be a united Ireland! Attack Short Strand! God Save The Queen!"
