the american challenge

"The American Challenge" AKA "The Great American Challenge" is a race in which teams of four must drink 36 beers, smoke 2 grams of marijuana, eat two large pizzas and then make a 100 piece jigsaw puzzle, in that order. The team must fully complete one stage of the Challenge in order to start the next stage.

There must be a sober referee to prevent cheating, to keep time, and to issue penalties. There are penalties for throwing up, spilling beer and cheating. The nature of the penalty is left up to the referee, but it is usually some some time penalty. If a player spills beer or throws up they have the option of "Zamboni-ing" (sucking it up off the floor or table) the spilled liquid in order to avoid penalty. The winning team receives some sort of prize, as well as the honor of winning the race.

Traditionally, The American Challenge is held on the last day of finals week in college. Inevitably the building where the event is held is irreparably trashed.
Dude, are you gonna hold The American Challenge at your house this semester again?

Naw man, I'm still scraping beer plastered puzzle pieces off the floor from last semester.

The American Challenge

A team a five must drink a 30-rack, a handle of vodka, smoke 5 grams of marijuana, eat 2 large pizzas, and then complete a 100 piece puzzle (in that order). The alcohol must be completed before continuing on to the weed, which must be completed before continuing on to the pizza, which must be completed before continuing on to the puzzle. If a team member spills or throws up, then one member of that team must either drink 1 additional beer, or 2 additional shots. The first team to finish wins eternal glory.
Bro #1: Hey man, are you down to try the American Challenge with Blazer, Lazer, Tazer, and I tonight?

Bro #2: Hell no man, last time I tried the American Challenge I woke up naked in the cafeteria with puzzle pieces stuck to my face.

The Great American Challenge

A Competition, often held at the end of college finals week, in which teams of four attempt to first consume a 30 pack of beer, then an eighth of an ounce of marijuana, then two large pizzas, and then finish a 100 piece puzzle.

Penalties, usually time, are imposed for spilling beer or vomiting.

Variations on the rules exist:
The beer can be a 36 pack instead of a 30.
The amount of marijuana is sometimes reduced to 2 grams.
The puzzle is sometimes more pieces, depending on how long the participants want the competition to last.
Also, some competitions change the order of events to account for the Beer before bong rule (that's just wrong).

Another variation exists wherein the teams begin in the morning, can drink, smoke, and eat simultaneously, and then once everything has been consumed, may move on to a 1,000 piece puzzle. The teams have until midnight (or in some cases, sunrise of the next day) to complete the challenge. In this variation, the challenge is more geared toward "getting it done" than racing and can be performed by a single team of four if desired.
"Hey man, do you want to take the Great American Challenge?"
"The dildo?"
"No, the other one."
"Fuck yeah!"

The Great American Challenge

The largest dildo known to mankind. It averages approx. 14 inches long and is from 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 inches around.
Did you hear about Debbie?

No what happened?

She was killed after using The Great American Challenge.

1.mary's vagina is so loose, ill bet she could handle "the Great American Challange"

Mike: "Haha! you're a faggot!"

The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.

The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. The striver is the guy who takes 30 credits/semester and considers anything below an A/4.0 failure. The striver doesn't work on campus, he is too busy finding ways to pad his resume instead of working retail or workstudy. The striver lets his grades pay his education by applying to ten scholarships a year.

The striver is a future Soros/Fullbright/Rhodes/Gates/Marshall/etc. fellow. The striver lives to study. For the striver, their fun comes from the rewards they expect to receive in return for their diligence. Be it Law School, B-School, academia, or politics. The striver seeks to find the American Dream through academic success.
Anthony was a striver. He transfered from a TTT to an IVY and graduated in 2 years. He studied his ass off and went to Penn Law. He got a Biglaw offer. But lost it all because of an unmoderated mesasgeboard.

Successful strivers:
- Barack Obama
- Harold Koh

SkyPesos

Delta SkyMiles, also known as SkyPesos, is the frequent flyer program of Delta Airlines. It has a very poor value and hard to use.
- I'm trying to book an award flight to Paris, but I only have 70,000 SkyPesos
- Just forget about it, you don't have enough SkyPesos to fly anywhere.
