The instigator will have numerous friends awaiting the lured person to enter the alley, proceeding to beat him up with ease due to outnumbering. Famously used by Pakistani and Somali youth gangs in Birmingham, UK

Occurs when, typically a guy, is attractive enough to think he should be with someone hot, but is not attractive enough to actually be with them. Basically they are cute, but not hot. Because of this, people in the cute trap typically date far less than people who are more or less attractive them.
