Tackleball is a full contact sport, combining football, basketball and hockey. Taking what's good about these sports, eliminating what's not from from basketball. Similar to how American Football developed from rugby, American Baseball from Cricket and MMA from boxing/martial arts, Tackleball has developed from basketball.
Tackleball is played with 6 players on each side. Tackleball is played on springboard vinyl flooring; not limited to, and is full contact. With each 30 seconds on the clock an offensive player must try to score with an aggressive defense protecting the basket. There are several ways to score.

Basic Rules
If you pick up your dribble you can be tackled.
Offensive player has 3 seconds between passes to place dribble down.
If an offensive player enters a Tackle Zone he can be tackled.
There is a 3,4,5 point line.
Contested dunks are 3 points.
There are two new goals on each side of the hoop worth one point each.
There is no penalty for minimal contact.
Contact that slows down the game or effects possession is penalized by 2 minutes in penalty box.
There is a goal protector guarding each basket.

The hoop is on a cage rather than just a back board, making it possible to cage rebound passing. Tackle Ball permits you to go back court.
Tackle Ball is a three or five player sport, the 3 positions are: shotcaller (allowed to kick aswell as throw) who generally plays deep defence, speed demon (winger, fast and throws lots of rebound shots) free role, defends and attacks constantly (2 speed demons in 5 man matches) and finisher (guy who generally scores most points an whose aim is to finish off plays) plays up the field most of the time but does defend if called upon (also 2 of these in a 5 man match)
Tackle Ball has plays of 30 seconds long in which they must finish a play, if not a turn over is granted to the other team. Tackle Ball is a free role game so even when a player is tackled the game carries on unless seriously injuries ocure on the field!
