Get the SVmug. SV (Scroll Velocity) , refers to the niche gameplay type found in popular rhythm games such as Quaver, Osu Mania, and NotITG.
SV is commonly seen as a hinderance in these games, as levels (or mapsets, maps, charts ect.) that feature SV effects are much harder to complete and or understand, thus causing many players to avoid it.
The reason SV maps are harder to complete is because: The notes (that usually move at a set speed) now change their speed (not randomly though, they are created with thought after all) This speed changing can range greatly, notes might move faster than can be seen, or move so slowly that all the notes appear in the same space. using combinations of positive and negative values, many SV effects have been created.
