spacetheist

Placing faith in the proven, credible observations in space to be defined as reality.

If the universe is 13,770,002,020 years old, it's simply illogical to place your faith in the son of the creator of our universe coming to our planet on the year 13,770,000,000 to save us from our sins.

Our planet resides in the milky way, which is one of the oldest galaxies formed during the earliest periods possible some 150 million years after the big bang. Since we're here, it's reasonable to assume that life must be sprouting up all over the universe.

So are we early? Yes. Are we late? Also yes.

Most stars are red dwarf stars, that live to be up to 10 trillion years old. 100 billion years after our Sol is long gone, life will still be sprouting into existence everywhere.

We're lucky enough to be born early where we can still see galaxies. Soon, on the timescale of the cosmos, you will no longer be able to see any other galaxy. Many of these beings will never have any proof of anything beyond their galaxy.

So what's the point? Survive.

After that? Enjoy what you've been given and make it better for those who follow.
*KNOCK KNOCK* HAVE YOU MET YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST?

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
