Starving children in Africa.

A further evolution of the thought that the phrase 'starving children in Africa' has lost its meaning and that it is used so frequently that it has since lost any significance that it once had.

The terms scia is therefore used to mock the irreverence of referring to the 'starving children in Africa,' or simply as a means of saving the number of energy it takes to describe the plight of the scia.

Person 1: Why are you wasting money on that chocolate bar? Think about all the starving children in Africa that can't even afford the basics to survive.
Person 2: Oh yeah, those scia. Let me enjoy my chocolate bar.
