r/lewronggeneration

A bearded millennial Redditor who mocks and bullies innocent Gen Z kids like me who think modern pop isn't that good (it's not good at all!). In addition, they really hate video game OSTS and anime openings and think people who like them are social outcasts who have no friends (no true at all!). If you say you like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Eminem, old Ariana Grande, old Maroon 5, old Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, or literally any pop artist from the early 10's people will attack you and say "I was 14 when those guys were popular, I hated them omg, how dare you???" Not to mention they defend TikTok unironically when it's literally Chinese spyware, but they don't give a damn not one bit. The average r/lewronggeneration user is like:

1. A millennial in his late 20's to early 30's.
2. A neckbeard.
3. Only listens to modern pop music, especially Cardi B and Billie Eilish.
4. Hates Rihanna, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Eminem, and any other early 10's pop artist.

5. Says "I feel old", "wifey", and "when I was a kid" constantly.

6. Probably overweight.
7. Never showers or shaves.
8. A gatekeeper.
Johnny: "Hey bros! Did you listen to the new Megan Thee Stallion album? It's FIRE!!!"
Cody: "I agree! Her music rocks!"
Slivio: "Nah, she sucks."
Cody: "Why?"
Slivio: "She's a generic pop artist from today, a Nicki Minaj wannabe, and a TikToker. Man, I really miss the early 10's. I want Rihanna and Katy Perry back."
Cody: "Dude, Rihanna and Katy Perry suck, pop music today is SO much better than back in the day."
Slivio: "Oh, shut up, you're such a r/lewronggeneration."

More from Urban Dictionary
West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
