Queerolescence

A phenomenon wherein queer people who only self-realized after their teenage years go through a second adolescence. This is extremely common with transgender individuals in particular, especially those undergoing HRT (which is literally a second puberty). Those going through queerolescence will often find themselves acting childish and in ways similar to teenagers as they slowly try new things and figure everything out for a second time.

"Amy found out she was trans at 33 years old, so now she's spending her queerolescence wearing leather jackets, dying her hair, and listening to Avril Lavigne"
