Can be used as a metaphor/ figure of speech that describes the state that something was in witch usually can’t be changed, like a memory or a polaroid picture.

Actually, I don’t like to revisit my work afterwards. The game is what it is because I was who I was while I made it. It is like a Polaroid of yourself at one point in your life, you may want to change the picture, but it won’t change who you were.
