Old Love 

n. Australian colloquialism. A replacement term for a person's name (female) within a sentence. Usage stems from the idea that a person need not be named during a statement or anecdote, but that her identity can be deduced by the context of the message.

Sometimes the identity of old love may not be discernable from the message's context. Quite often in such instances the identity is immaterial to the underlying message.

Person one: "I had sex with old love. Again."

Person two: "You have to stop fucking her, seriously."

or

Person one: "Old love dropped by and we watched the cricket for a bit."

Person two: "McGrath had a shocker, hey...."

It means when your attracted to someone, not sexually, and you want to get to know them before you make love to them and basically hand over a big part of you. When you think of sex as something sacred and not just as a one night stand. This goes for both men and women. When men don't have shame to express feelings to a woman and when women truly like a guy and doesn't take them for granted.

Guy #1: yooo mannn how was that party last night did you bang her brains out ?!

Guy #2: No, man you know i don't do that. I really like Jennifer and I'm taking her on a date and tell her how much i like her.
