3)Many people say how they aren't the best band ever but claim they are more talented than bands such as: Alice in Chains, Sound Garden, Pearl Jam, , Faith No More, Guns N' Roses, Queensryche, etc. which were all by far more talented than Nirvana.
4)I am an Alice in Chains/Pearl Jam fan, that doesn't mean I have to hate Nirvana just because they were more famous. I actually used to be a very big fan until I heard AiC/PJ.
5) Possibly the most overrated band of all time, along with Pearl Jam, which overshadowed more talented acts like Alice in Chains.

the over rated grunge band who achieved "legendary" status after singer Kurt Cobain took his own life with a shotgun. Most bands achieve legendary status after 20 or more years i.e. real bands such as Iron Maiden and Metallica.

A shitty grunge band that only deserves respect from people for making alternative music mainstream. Kurt Cobain couldn't play guitar for shit, clocking in at about 3 or 4 power chords a song, however he is commonly ranked among the top guitarists in history (Rolling Stone placed him 39 spots over PETE FUCKING TOWNSHEND). The only good member is Dave Grohl who is a monster on drums and his ability to kick ass with his band, the Foo Fighters
It's interesting to note that Nirvana is used as some sort of a "fashion accessory" by 12 year old kids in order to make their music taste seem "cool" and "hip," when in reality they only know Smells Like Teen Spirit. Ironically, said 12 year old kids worship Kurt like he's some sort of god, when actually that is the complete opposite of what Kurt actually wanted, proving that many 12 year olds are, in fact, posers.

The gods of grunge and kings of alternative rock. There sound was too punk for metalheads and too metal for punks, and too light for both. But they got popular none the less. Nirvana's earlier sound was much more hardcore then there later days, yet it was always the best of grunge.
