1) Used to amplify the severity or something
2) Used as a buffer in a sentence when the correct word cannot be brought to mind. In this context, it's use is comparable to the rest of the English speaking worlds use of the word 'like'.
1) "It made us git mad" or "Ya git poof"

2) "...and ah was git...whatever"
