Feralized

Acting based on instinct, not rational thought. Usually involves things you end up regretting later, that could have been avoided with a little thinking ahead.
Bob likes to get in fights because it makes him feel tough. Bob has already been arrested twice and sued three times because of his fighting, but he continues to fight. Bob is a feralized individual.

firmalize

To increase the conduction between a device's internal components at the point of connection by securing the non-electrical parts together through external means.

For example, tying a small nylon strap tightly around the processor and headpiece plug of a cochlear implant device in order to secure them together, reducing vibration and preventing the internal connection points from becoming disconnected.
My device kept resetting because the metal ring inside the connector was loose, so I firmalized it with a rubber band.
