dudewashing 

Taking a story with strong female characters and turning many or all of them into men to suit modern sensibilities.

The original fairy tale "The Snow Queen" is about women saving a man from another woman. In the Disney movie "Frozen", after some good dudewashing, it was a story about one female among men helping to save her sister.

dudewaiting 

The area--often with bench or lounge seating, sometimes just open floor--where cool dudes wait for their girls in retail stores.

Can also be the act of dudewaiting: standing in said area and/or carrying her shopping bags.

Stuck in dudewaiting while my gf tries on culottes.
