Races are usually perfomed on hilly winding roads.

Racing in an automatic is impossible. Drifting in a stick shift is the only way to escape with your life.

Duct Tape Deathmatch 

A very high risk and high stakes street race. Both of the drivers have one hand duct-taped to the steering wheel, limiting the turning radius of the wheel. They have the other hand free to shift gears.

Duct Tape Deathmatch races most commonly take place on narrow winding mountain roads.

Using the handbrake to lock the rear wheels is a common technique to achieve a smaller turning radius.

Please do not do this yourself.

Alex is going to try to do a Duct Tape Deathmatch. If he's not careful he'll end up at the bottom of that cliff.
