girlfriend drought

taken from the aussie culture where it doesn't rain for a long time in the desert.
a male that usually has a girlfriend, but goes into a dry spell and has trouble finding a girlfriend

Mark: Hey dude, you found yourself a girlfriend yet?
Aaron: Nah man
Mark: Sounds like you're in a girlfriend drought.
