The art of conjuring up a ridicules and/or useless ideas. Followed by persuading or forcing others to chase the woven dream through endless work with no chance of justifiable or applicable results.

Create a triangular wheel is an example of dream weaving.
Attempt to stress cells through capillary tubes is an example of dream weaving.
My manager insist on dream weaving these useless theories like, turn a useful and manageable finished solution into gelatinous, non-process able gunk and generate mathematical models to fit useless data.
