dining in the dark

Basically eating in the dark.

A new popular trend where people go to a restaurant, are seated by legally blind waiters/waitresses and eat entirely in a pitch black room.

Why? The idea is that your other senses are heightened, thus making your meal more “sensual”.

It’s more for than the experience than for the food.
Millennial: Hey man lets go to Opaque, it’s way cool.
Other millennial: oh the new dining in the dark place?
Millennial: yeah, then we can eat with our hands and no one will know!
