Relating to marriage or the relationship between a married couple, as a basis definition. However the expression can be used to refer to couples. anything that is related or has to do with partnered or engaged couple, such pairs, fiancé, bf & gf. If a guy says he doesn’t want to be conjugally involved it means he doesn’t want to be involved as a your boyfriend.
Sarah: Matt I don’t want to be involved in conjugal sense.
Erick: Don’t get me wrong I love Sarah in romance sense but I don’t want to be conjugally involved with her.
Maddie: I love you but non conjugal.
