Collectivism 

The opposite of individualism. The belief or socio-economic policy which states that the interests of the collective outweigh the interests of the individual and that the individual exists solely to serve the collective. Under collectivism the individual is subordinate to the collective.

Utilitarianism, Communism, and to some extent all statist philosophies practice collectivism.

Collectivist 

Someone who believes the group to be superior to any one individual. Blindly following a mantra without much thought and at the cost of your own personal reality.

Q:"Are you going to make a choice?"
A: "I don't know, what would so and so X do in this situation?"
Response:"Don't be such a Collectivist and make up your own Damn mind!!"

Connectivity Whore 

An individual that is compelled to boast about their constant connection to the Internet at all times through the use of any or all of the following tools: desktop PC, laptop, cell phone, and/or Blackberry.

Most, but not all, are employed in the IT industry, and can be heard frequently uttering the phrase "Will work for bandwidth"

My friend Tadd is such a connectivity whore, all he ever does is constantly check his blackberry and chat with ladies over google.

"HAH, just because I logged out off the network doesn't mean I CAN'T check my email, BITCH! TAKE THAT!" This person would be referred to as a connectivity whore.
