Bristle Scrunchie 

A bristle scrunchie is the metal the separates a paint brushes bristles and the handle.
Aw man! I got paint all over the bristle scrunchie! It used to be shiny, but now, it’s covered in paint.

The metal part of the paintbrush, actually called the ferrule. Word created by Moriah Elizabeth in her video about painting on paintbrushes.
I coated the bristle scrunchie in five layers of metallic paint to really make it stand out from the bristles and handle of the brush.
