a term used for burger kingrestaurants since 1955, used by many people because of the restaurants that served alcohol it was soon classified as a lounge in the late 50s. the term is not copyrighted by BK. Burger King never adapted this name because of their intentions to keep the restaurant as a fast food joint.

burger king. this name has been around since the mid 80's and was in use by my friends in racine, wi, BEFORE de la soul or dane cook ever used it...
(the BK Lounge was popular with us because it had free refills)
