Binary scale 

The Binary scale is the theoretical decision making process which ultimately comes into play when judging whether it is more preferable than not, to have sexual intercourse with a given member of the opposite sex at a given time. Just like the real life "sex or no sex" decision, there are only 2 possibilities: 1 representing "yes", and 0 representing "no".

It is a great way to break down the completely arbitrary 10 point rating scale to a level that can be analyzed and compared by all, with relative ease.

John: "Hey Paul, did you see that girl over there with the tight jeans?"
Paul: "Ya man, she was definitely a 1!"
John: "Haha, good use of the binary scale!"

Binary Scale 

Derivative of the 1-10 scale, in which a person or persons are rated in terms of physical attractiveness ranging from 1 (least attractive) to 10 (most attractive).

The Binary Scale is an alternative, simplified version of the 1-10 scale based on the {binary} numeral system in which the number "1" is equated with an "on" or "yes" command and the number "0" is equated with an "off" or "no" command. Thus, by rating the subject a "1", the rater is declaring that he or she would pursue the subject sexually and, adversely, by rating the subject a "0", would not pursue the subject.

Binary Scale of Hotness 

Different from the classic 1 to 10 scale of rating women, or the ever popular 1 to 3 scale, the binary system is a simple choice of yes or no.

The Binary System is best used when one is on a dry streak and looking to get drunk and get laid... not necessarily in that order.

There are only two choices in the binary scale: 1. Yes, I'll fuck her, or 2. No, keep that skank away.

Big Red Binary Scale 

There is a need, when attending an Ivy League university like Cornell (Mascot: Big Red), to ditch the standard 0-10 rating system when assessing women on the street or at parties, in favor of the Binary Scale which simplifies the former system to a straightforward 0 or 1. A girl who is given a 0 rating by the individual or his friends would be considered a “no-go” and thus not socially acceptable to get with, whereas a girl deserving of a 1 gives the individual the green light to “go for it.” This system is helpful because it removes all of the grey area associated with hooking up and alleviates the pain that comes with hooking up with a girl deemed borderline by your friends. With the Big Red Binary Scale, peace of mind is as easy deciding whether she is a 0 or 1.
