A gender preference that can be encoded using a single bit in a computer, where, by convention, 0=Male and 1=Female. This standard was established in a truce between the religious conservative camp who believe that men come first and the radical feminist camp who believe men count for nothing

A simplified 0 or 1 version of the 1-10 scale used for rating a person's looks. System is most effectively used when the majority of a population is substandard
Noah: What would you give that girl on a scale of 1 to 10?
Jacurtic: 1 to 10?? Fuck that. Here in Detroit, we use binary; 0 is "no way", and 1 is "good enough"

Someone who knows binary (figuratively) is a very intelligent person, compared to the people they associate with. A "binary person"/"binary girl"/"binary boy" is a person who "knows binary", often a nerd. Sometimes used in a derogatory fashion.
