angel complex 

the angel complex is when someone is attracted to someone and builds up an idealistic version of them in their head. they start dating them and hold them to these high standards that the person was never meant to live up to. it causes disappointment in the person who holds the angel complex because they are frustrated that their s/o is not who they thought they were. yet, they may not realize it because they still believe them to be the ideal person they have in their mind.

Angel Complex 

An Angel Complex, or angelic complex, is a superiority mindset similar to a God complex. Unlike a God complex, however, the individual believe they were put on this Earth to help the people. Despite their flaws, they think they can do no harm and never do wrong because they had the "right" intentions. With this, it is hard to believe that people could hate the person with an angel complex- their reasoning being "I'm so nice and caring, how could you ever hate someone like me?"
Instead of taking blame, they will judge the other in spite and blame the other's actions/words on jealousy.

Inflated Ego with the intention to do good in the world.

In sociology, this particular personality type is referred to as "fatness acquired retarded temperament" or "F.A.R.T." for short.
