Wallolopes

Down in the dumps, sulking, crestfallen, downcast, told off, scolded, lamenting, feeling sorry for yourself, making sad puppy eyes
Originates in southern England in the mid 1980s at first to describe a dog begging for tidbits and later expanded to people overtly displaying needy sadness

Why does the dog look so wallolopes? what has she destroyed this time?
