A spontaneous and usually random time where someone checks your vibe. A vibe check should usually be a pleasant experience where the person being checked is vibin.

vibe check 

A process by which a group or individual obtains a subjective assessment of the mental and emotional state of another person, place or thing. Not anchored in or limited to science, psychology or sociology. Grounded in a belief in pachouli, sage, or karma and sometimes veggie burgers.

Kyle dropped by the veggie drum jam to perform a vibe check. After application of fine high mountain sage, the vibes improved drastically. the evening commenced in a very mellow direction.

Vibe check 

A phenomenon that occurs when someone of a higher status would like to examine your vibe.

The words "vibe check" will be uttered aggressively by the authority to warn everyone in the vicinity of a vibe check. Two or less seconds after, a hand will appear and extend towards the victim.

Vibe checks are rarely passable, and in those cases, the victim may be rewarded. If a vibe check is failed, the authority has the right to either

A) vore you and anything else they see fit

B) bludgeon you to death with a baseball bat

Or

C) Extract both of your existing nipples

When an individual attempts to check somebody's vibe and murders them in the process. Most commonly happens when someone does not have good vibes and are not vibing.

Vibe Check 

An aggressive way to penalize someone for an undesirable attitude. A vibe is late 2010’s slang for the energy or attitude one radiates. Vibe checks are usually only featured in internet based comedy (aka memes) to provide a satirical accentuation of an originally serious event.

A typical vibe check is followed by a short, aggressive attack, such as a bludgeoning, or classic a kick, punch or a good old slap.

A person with good vibes is generally very likable, positive and supportive, whereas someone with bad vibes is negative, judgmental and toxic in nature.
