the next step

a canadian show about dance that is broadcasted on english channel cbbc , if you are planning to watch it i highly recommend to watch season 1-3 because the seasons after that is kind of dull tbh. no shade tho. basically the concept of the show is that a-troupe take part in competitions like regionals, nationals and internationals. and the team just work the way and rehearse for those upcoming competitions. and in my opinion it is one of the best shows on cbbc if not the best. my favourite characters are giselle and west.
hey bert have you watched the new episode of the next step

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
