TLGU

TL,GU is a acroynm for 'Too Long, gave up' it is more alusive, but seen to be a comical version of TL;DR: used primarily to make the user of the acroynm seem spiteful and un-interested in a piece of information, which the writer may have spent an extended period of time on creating.

It first came to prominence early January 2019, on the video sharing platform known as YouTube, under a video named 'THAT FEEL WHEN...' : as a reply (by the user of Blitzaufweise) to a popular comment, describing the Writer's (TrionBulldog) honest opinion on the topic of depression. The video itself became an iconic piece featuring Wojak (A character featured on the internet for many years, though gained prominence after the NPC Flood of Fall 2018.

TLGU was admired less as a well-thought out comment, but more of a physical manifestation of cultural devolment starting in 2019 and noted to be one of the first recognised phrases to be produced and used that year. It was also a symbol for the 18 - 15 year olds at the time (Generation Z) carrying on from millennials who had since left the online communities.
