noun: A creature that follows one around and causes laziness, complacency, general disregard for one's well being. It stands about 40 feet from head to webbed foot and is invisible. Can only be defeated by pure will power to succeed and wanting the Slump Duck to die. Unless killed, it will follow you for the rest of your life, however short that may be.

Man: Dude, I don't want to do my term paper.
Friend: The Slump Duck strikes again!

Woman: I don't really need to shower today, or tomorrow. Wait, DAMN YOU SLUMP DUCK!

In a parallel universe, where reality is flipped; The animals do the talking and humans are the pets.
