A person who skateboards or a person who wears loose or slim fit jeans, hats, hoodies, high quality t-shirts and skater shoes like Emerica or vans. Even though people dress like skaters doesn't mean they actually skate.

A skater is a person that is in to skating or BMX but not all skaters do, skater is a rough definition for someone who likes a weaker version of rock and metal music. Skaters normally wear baggy jeans and baggy shirts normally wearing caps and beaked beanies. Skaters are not really the most voilent group of people but wont stand for peoples comments and will stick up for one another, skaters are not normally very muscluar but are normally in pretty good shape at running and fighting. Skaters and Goths, who normally get mixed up by alot of people, do get on pretty well. Skaters are the main enemies of the townies and sometimes chavs.
Skaters are normally very laided back mainly looking for a laugh and can get mixed up with stoners.

Townie: Oi dickhead piss off
Skater: Owww big man
Townie: Say that again kick your fucking head in

at the end of this either there is a fight but normally chavs and townies these days are complete whimps and only fight when in groups.

A type of person who thinks they are hard but are not and all they do is skate. A type of chav and should listen to good music e.g.murderdolls, slipknot, pearl jam, cradle of filth or nirvana. Often wear hats and baggy BLUE jeans.

There normal people but there labeled as complete twats.
All they mostley do is skate. Then they get bored of skating and go BmX or summt.

Skaters Fever 

When you pass by a skate spot with awsome ramps, rails, and halfpipes, and want to go skate on them, but you dont have your board. (Especially common for Skateboarders, Rollerbladers, BMX Riders, and Ripstikers.)

Skaters (skateboarding) 

A skater is someone who knows how to ride a skateboard around. They don’t have to know how to do any tricks to be a skater, it can just simply be their hobby. Though most beginner skaters are the ones who do not know many tricks, there are also long-time skaters that just like to cruise around rather than trickskate. How many tricks they know does not determine how much time they have skated. For example, many skaters take breaks from the hobby to focus on other things. Skaters may wear shoes such as Vans, DCs, Nike, Adidas, etc. You don’t have to wear a certain shoe to be a skater, although skate shoes are made for the hobby and may work better for you. Poser Skaters are people who tend to make fun of beginners, and skate only just to become popular or look cool. Whether they’re good or bad skaters, they are still a poser. That is what posers do, pose for attention. You may see posers wearing Thrasher or Vans. A lot of real skaters wear both of those too, there is no way to determine a poser skater just by what they wear.

New Skater: I only know how to ollie, but I try my best everyday to learn more!
Poser Skater: Really? I know how to ollie, grind, AND kickflip. I learned in only 1 week! LOL get on my level!
Long-time Skater: Hey you, do you even know what you are talking about? Skating is made to be fun or to ride around faster, it is not a competition!
