Simpsons did it

A term you refer to when a situation requested by someone has been already done on The Simpsons.

Derives from South Park.
"How about we split the UrbanDictionary into two websites to adapt to the new area code?"
"Simpsons did it!"

Simpsons did it

A magic wand waved by a fan of a particular show to make accusations that that show ripped off another show disappear.

The line originally appeared on a South Park episode in which a foolish character kept shooting down another's ideas, dismissing them as ones the Simpsons originated, a point he made by annoyingly shouting "Simpsons did it!" The character was straightened out by a wiser character who explained that the Simpsons itself borrowed from other shows--the implicit premise being that everyone steals so no one should complain about it. The unfortunate result is that many people who look to South Park to know what their opinions are, now think that it's foolish to call people on plagiarism.

Now the line can be used more generally to ridicule anyone who points out that an episode of one show is similar to an episode of an older show.
Simpsons fan: Hey, that South Park episode is awfully similar to an episode of The Simpsons that aired last year.

South Park fan: Yeah, whatever. 'Simpsons did it!!! Simpsons did it!!!' That's what you sound like. Ha ha!

simpsons did it

A South Park episode which made fun of the simpsons doing everything.
Simpsons Did it, Simpsons did it, Simpsons Did it.

Simpsons Did It

What you say when you overhear someone plotting revenge as an allusion to Dougie from South Park who said it repeatedly to Butters
Carrie: "I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights, slashed a hole in all four tires, and carved my name into his leather seat to avenge my ex-boyfriend for cheating on me".
Karen: "Simpsons did it!"
Miranda: "I walked into a bar and attacked his new girlfriend because I'm an immature little girl who can't get over my ex like he got over me".
Karen: "Simpsons did it, Simpsons did it!"
Carrie: "They did not!"
Karen: "I know. I'm just saying what Dougie said to Butters whenever he plotted revenge against the people who wronged him".
Miranda: "South Park is a stupid show. The main characters think hunting is stupid, so I hate that show".
slip of the tongue perhaps,
Those idiots who drive around in a ridiculously raised pick up truck, making a top heavy vehicle even more top heavy and unstable
A:*gah*
B: "Whats the matter"
A: This dam prickup is blinding me.
B: Stupid thing's, as if there lights weren't blinding enough as it is.

Serial Monogamist

Someone who jumps from one relationship immediately into another one.

Serial monogamists can not stand to be alone and often suffer from vast commitment and insecurity issues.

Because they jump into relationships immediately after the previous one has ended, serial monogamists typically don't take the time to reflect on their behavior or why their previous relationships failed; thus, they end up making the same relationship mistakes over and over again.
Person 1: Damn, Dustin already has a new girlfriend?! It's only been two weeks since he broke up with his fiance! I think he's a sociopath.

Person 2: No, he's a serial monogamist...
