ROSI (R.O.S.I.)

Return On Social Investment

- A ratio which can be approximated by the following formula:

Benevolence or good deeds by others towards you and/or your own positive emotions caused by your positive actions towards others

/ (DIVIDED BY)
your own benevolence/good deeds towards others

- Ideally your personal ROI-ratio should be around 1 or above.
(Love is the only thing that grows, if you spread it, remember=)

---

How a person measures/thinks about this ratio will differ widely. A very altruistic person that gives a lot towards others "without the need to get anything back in return" still may get back a lot - simply in the form of positive emotions/feelings/praise, etc.
NOTA BENE:
If your respectful interaction with a person/group results for you in more negative than positive reactions from their part, then cancel contact.
...Dooh: I guess you knew that already, right?

- A"pseudo-sociopsychological" term that I came up with some time ago. Recently someone left my life for all the wrong reasons. My neighourhood seems to go down the drain. And yesterday I gave shelter to a self-proclaimed homeless stranger for one night (in a seperate room:). This Person robbed me. Now it was time to put this down in writing.

to put it in a nutshell:
BE NICE AND GET HAPPY! - BUT KEEP SAFE AND SANE!
Qiu:
Aww, dude - Remember how the ROSI ROSI (R.O.S.I.) with my girlfriend had been getting worse and worse lately? I really tried to fix it. And now she broke up with me and said that I was funny, had a good heart and all... but that she was looking for more security. I don't understand, man!??

Didi: Security my ass!! For some people security is just a euphemism for the dolla! Don't worry - she wasn't that fresh anyway. You'll get better love and ROSI somewhere else!

Qiu: Thanks, man, I love you bro! Time with you is always well invested.

---

Calculation example:

A is looking for an affordable flat downtwon. Aunty X of A makes one phone call to an acquaintance she knows, although she knows that person holds a grudge against her because of reason Z. The phone call is therefore difficult, but her niece A gets to see and rent a flat she likes soone thereafter

IN RELATION TO

A had called her aunt several times a week when she was in hospital for cancer treatment and felt sad and lonely.
(NOTA BENE: A had done this at the time without the prospects of getting something in return! Aight?
