A term from the Age of Empires II (AoE2) community used to describe rapidly placing building foundations with villagers to keep out or trap enemy military units, or to otherwise save injured or threatened villagers. This technique started with players using palisade walls/gates, but has also been performed with stone walls/gates, houses, or occasionally larger buildings. It is generally believed to have been started and coined by a player called TheViper, who was at the time widely recognized as the number one AoE2 player in the world.

Get the Quickwall mug.(A shockwave racing specific term I am coining)
Abbreviated to QUW (made up just now))
Quickwalling is when you wallslide extremely quickly (mostly to activate Phantom Jumps.)
It can also be defined as flicking your mouse whilst against a wall and jumping to infinitely scale up the pillar/platform.

"Quickwalling is a very overpowered technique, which can help you either shave off time or save you from what would've been death."
