Girl: Can you let me borrow some cash? I'll pay you next week.
Dude: I don't think so, that sounds like monkey business.

word for any kind of shady activity, devilry, devilment, tomfoolery, dishonesty, trickery, chicanery, skullduggery, shenanigans, mischievous, devilish and deceitful behavior. It also means by all the following: being on any crazy stuff, down low, lies, being shady, disrespectful, playing someone, and secrecy.

*(Brooke walk up to Trevon)
Brooke: I just want to let you know you are really cute. We'll be dating tomorrow.
Trevon: Thank you. Okay, cool.
Then, very next few weeks. She played him.
*Trevon (thinks and say to himself): It seems to me, this is all just monkey business.
Later, Tamika found out her best friend been playing her little brother and be on and doing some stupid stuff. Trevon already told his sister on her. They're no longer best friends.

Monkey business can involve a psychopathic hunt or control of victim or victims that can endure for years where the victims endure a steady decline of resources altogether and of their own health, becoming depressed and suffering constant harassment and pressure from various threats.
This interpretation of the dubious version of the concept, I think, to one end or another, is associated with the brown remains of a smaller person, typically a kid. You know, this may happen when you're exposed to psychopaths. They take their victim to some place where they do their freak stuff, reducing this (young) person to this brown, i.e., bloody by stark blood, burnt skin, dirtied by feces, lifeless, insidiously treated object! This goes for nothing less than torture and has some value to dubious people for "energy reasons"/"stratagems"/"efficacies of kind", so and so!
I'm telling you right now, beware of these idiots!!! More serious than this, it can't get!

Monkey business describes an activity where one is up to no good, but is not doing anything too harmful. Monkey business does not cause you to get arrested but will provide a good laugh. From prank phone calls to leaving rare pepes on your friend's doorstep, monkey business is a great sleepover activity for all to enjoy!
Cindy Robes: What's the plan for Saturday night??
Mark Icecreambars: Shit's going down at Jon's place!
Jon Earwig: Yeah, we're gonna do some real monkey business!
