1. Melungeon traditional beliefs, superstitions, and folklore sometimes called Melungeon witchcraft.

2. (Outdated) Sorceress or witch who had liasons with the devil.

"Don't mess with them Melungeon Mamie's and their mekhashepha or youns might get hexed"

Mekhashepha 

A Melungeon spiritual practice involving Orishas, similar to Ifa, Candomble, Umbanda, and Aliyiyism.

Mekhashepha is an ethnoreligion mostly followed by some Melungeons, and also by a few Lumbee, Moors of Delaware, and Ethnic Qarsherskiyan people.
