A term used to describe a confusing love relationship including a more complex relation then a love triangle.

Often it is very stressful for all parties attached to the Love Octopus
Person one: "Look at John! I started liking him and now his EX wants him back and he likes you! You out of all people!"

Person two:"I'm sorry but I like your EX!"

Person three that isn't involved:"I can't believe that you are all in a Love Octopus!"

A mystical creature that has 8 moving appendages that may look askew, but wants nothing more than to love you. Likely not inebriated but sweet enough to be made of macaroons.
