Some B.S boys say in order to make a girl feel special but not too special. They say it so you know they aren't too serious. It's another way to say love you but they are too scared to say it in case you take it the wrong way. I would kill my boyfriend if he said that to me. Man up and say love you. It's not that hard if the girl knows it's not in that way.

A phrase used to say I love you to a certain level. The phrase I love ya used for a Ex boyfriend/girlfriend or just a friend in general showing you care for the person but not as deep as you would your lover
“ hey girl I love ya, but we are better off friends”.
“ you have been my friend for many years, and we have been through a lot together I’m glad your still here with me love ya”.

You tell a girl I love you
She says love ya
She thinks you a disgusting piece of shit and only wants your money

A phrase used mostly by guys, who don't want to commit to true love. Ya is used instead of YOU, to make clear it is not for "real".
It really means: "I like you", nothing more, nothing less.
Nowadays often used in txt messages or in emails, or an evening hanging out. So ladies and girls beware...

to close off a txt message or an email:
"we'll talk later, okay? love ya"
"let me know when we can meet again. love ya lots"
or after an evening out.
"Had a lot of fun hanging out with you. Love Ya".

The phrase your girlfriend/boyfriend says to you after you break up but still want to be "just friends." In other words, they're just saying it because they have to. They don't really still love you. They replace the "you" with "ya" to make it casual, and not serious. It makes things awkward - especially if one of you guys still likes eachother but you realize this whole "unserious" thing.
Relationships suck.
Relationships suck.
Example of not understanding casualness:
JAKE: Even though we broke up, I still wanna be friends. Cool?
JANE: (still likes Jake) Oh yeah, that sounds great!
JAKE: Yeah. Well I gotta go call Miranda. Love ya!
JANE: Oh, I love you too, Jake.
Example of actually having common sense:
JAKE: Even though we broke up, I still wanna be friends. Cool?
JANE: (still likes Jake) Oh yeah, that sounds great!
JAKE: Yeah. Well I gotta go call Miranda. Love ya!
JANE: Oh, you too. I gotta go call Mike...and Ryan.;)
