Lenticular Viovitreation

An infection of unknown origin that begins in the sclera before spreading down the optic nerve and into the brain. Initial symptoms are purple discoloration in the sclera, followed by confusion and disorientation. Patients suffering from this disease are driven to the brink of sanity and are known to attempt auto-brain surgery, digging into their skulls in an oft-fatal effort to rid themselves of infection. Prognosis is impossible to determine, and often ends in fatality.
