Jayne Syndrome 

A phenomenon in competitive online MOBA/team-based FPS gaming in which average rank (i.e. Silver/Gold/Plat) have big ambitions to learn the strategies and compositions of high-rank and pro players, but are in their rank due to not being refined in the fundamental aspects of the game. This includes:

* Spending hours watching lots of in-depth Jayne videos and concepts, dozens of them, but not enough time grinding the competitive ladder to apply those concepts
* The stress and cognitive dissonance of having a lot of lofty goals and academic knowledge, yet not being exceptionally good.
* Trying to adhere to the meta religiously, even though they are nowhere near the skill cap and their inability to climb out of their rank has nothing to do with the meta.
* While there is a genuine attempt to learn about metas in-depth, sufferers of Jayne Syndrome, end up rotely memorizing lots of informations, getting bit and pieces, glibly forming them together, but with a lack of context.

Gold Player: "You won't ever get better at the game if you keep using off-meta characters"
Diamond Player: "Please, get treatment for your Jayne Syndrome"

Haley Jane Syndrome 

Noun. A psychological syndrome when a person is incapable of finishing any size dish of food or drink. Generally, they will leave a small amount of food and their brain will trick them into thinking they are too full to finish.

Bert never finishes all the food on his plate so he must have Haley Jane Syndrome.

Sara Jane Syndrome 

A person who's ashamed of their race and will do anything to be considered another race.

In reference of the character Sara Jane from the film Imitation of Life.

Jennifer was so ashamed of being Black, she shunned her mother & tried to pass herself off as white thus suffering from Sara Jane Syndrome
