1) maddening, exasperating irksome or annoying media, news or social media stories (regardless of veracity) that purposefully inflame audiences often prompting polarizing and overblown comments or commentary.

2) the action of proving or being provided antagonistic or galling television, radio or internet media to anger viewers.

The inability to look away from someone's dramatic acts because of the sheer entertainment of watching them make a fool of themselves.

Tom's drama is to the point of making a fool of himself. It's total Irritainment.
