when someone get's quiet for a period of time because they don't quite know how to or want to respond to a comment or set of comments in a text or IM conversation. Hush Mouth Syndrome is this followed by a sudden change in topic

Guy: let's go to the movies this weekend
Girl: OK
Guy: what do you want to see
Girl: how about the new Twilight movie

When you speak truth about a situation to someone to the point where they can’t say anything back without outing their motives or making the situation worse.

Putting someone in their place or using a great comeback in a conversation.

Stacy: “You’ll never find a man”

Ashley: “funny coming from someone who cheated on their man multiple times.”
