Homosteading

The act of local municipalities conferring to homosexuals either property tax abatements or granting properties in distressed areas with the knowledge that within a few years those areas will go from filth and blight to fierce and bright.
Since Detroit passed the Homosteading Act of 2014, the downtown area has experienced a gentrification not seen since the early days of the automobile boom.
