Used to show dominance, a position of power or authority. Used in a sense of treating someone like a pet, or slave in the eyes of their master when they want or need something from you.
Allison: Love, can you turn the tv down I'm trying to put baby to sleep?

Go lay down 

Used when somebody is completely unqualified for an opinion or position on a matter and should remove themselves. Generally the statement comes from someone more experienced on the matter to one that is not. The idea is that the inexperienced person has entered an area of knowledge too great for their brain and they should lay down because they are displaying elements attributed to fatigue saying nonsensical things.
Some non gaming person: "Those video games are the root of all evil of today's children"
Sane person with video game experience: " Aww just go lay down already."

A)
The Crud that collects under the keys in a keyboard. Usually more severe in the keyboards of programmers and webmasters as they tend to spend a lot of time at the the computer and thus eat at their desk. Mainly affecting IBM Model M (clicly) style boards.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
