Finding the gallium

Discovering something that is very peculiar or hard to get; especially in large quantities.

Idiom comes from a fan made Spongebob comic where two men find a truck full of gallium that supposedly belongs to Squidward.

James: "A team of miners just discovered a large pile of jewelry and building materials weighing half a ton in Cuba."
Ron: "Wow, talk about finding the gallium."
