Fauxbulary

Definition:
1. The compulsive habit of swapping out plain, honest English words for imported, outdated, or pseudo-technical terms ("the tarmac," "bespoke," "kit," "architected") purely to project unearned wealth, intelligence, or executive status.
2. A person who speaks almost entirely in counterfeit luxury vocabulary; a linguistic social climber.

"Rick told the team he had to 'architect a bespoke strategy' before his driver met him on 'the tarmac.' The man is drowning in his own fauxbulary."

"Drop the fauxbulary, Dave. You’re standing on concrete in an airport parking lot, not filming Succession."

fauxcabulary 

n. Vocabulary people use to try to put on an image or sound smart. For example, people referring to Nitrous Oxide as 'NOS', which is just flat out wrong.

Can also refer to words which sound like they have meaning, but don't.

Pretending to have a large vocabulary

Using an obscure portmanteau like "portmanteauspicious" to describe a situation whereby an opportunity to express unnecessarily large complex words is presented.
"He was using big words like she had a big vocabulary, but all he really had was a fauxcabulary"
