Farting Barrier

The barrier that usually exists against farting in the company of each other at the outset of a new relationship. The individuals involved are usually very hesitant if not incredibly embarrassed to cross this barrier, at least not too early.

I can see you just crossed the farting barrier and you will regret that later tonight. Let me guess, a bean and cheese burrito for lunch? Excuse me while I go hang out with the dog in the other room for a while.
