A
Youtuber who possibly holds the longest Minecraft Let's Play series of all
time, with the first episode of his
101-episode first season having aired on December 17, 2010. Due to major changes to world generation and
game mechanics, he started his second season on September 17, 2011 at episode 102, and the season is still running all the way to the present. In total, the series spans 557 episodes over 10 years, 1 month, and 3 days at the
time of writing.
Ethoslab is also very talented with redstone, and invented devices such as the now ubiquitous Hopper Clock, the EnderPorter quick travel device, and others. In survival, he has also taken on such ambitious projects as the Nexus, a searchable storage system which allows input and output of specific items via a hex keypad, and Wilson, a Tamagotchi pet in Minecraft which has age, hunger,
happiness, sickness, and weight that need to be monitored.
Ethoslab is also well-known in the community for being a former member of the Mindcrack
SMP, and now currently plays on the Hermitcraft
SMP. He's been cited as an inspiration for MrBeast's success (
check the comments sections of Etho's earliest Let's Play episodes), has an extremely loyal fanbase, and still creates the same-old, classic family-friendly form of Minecraft content that he's always made (just beware his frequent yo
mama jokes in the first season). His content is great to watch when cooling off and taking a
break. Give it a try, and don't forget to bring your snacks!
